Veterans Day is more than just a holiday – it’s a chance for us to show appreciation and offer our thanks. Here are some of the ways restaurants and eateries are stepping up for our veterans this November 11, 2025:
Breakfast Specials (Dine-In)
Cracker Barrel – Free Sunrise Pancake Special served all day for dine-in guests nationwide. Enjoy two fluffy pancakes plus two eggs or breakfast meat. No purchase necessary, just bring your military ID and your appetite!
Denny’s – Free Original Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon at select locations. This classic includes two of each: pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Must present valid military ID or DD 214. Dine-in only.
IHOP – Free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating locations. With valid military ID or proof of service, enjoy this patriotic stack. Dine-in only, one per guest.
Wendy’s – Free breakfast combo available during breakfast hours at participating locations. Includes any breakfast sandwich, drink, and a side of fried potatoes. Available for take-out with valid ID.
Lunch & Dinner Options (Dine-In)
Applebee’s – Veterans dining in receive one free entrée from a special menu on November 11, 2025. Choose from Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, 6 oz. Top Sirloin, Chicken Tenders, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad, or Three-Cheese Chicken Penne. The cheeseburger plus fries is a local favorite!
Buffalo Wild Wings – Enjoy 10 free boneless wings and fries! Available for dine-in or walk-in counter orders at Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations. All past and present armed services members with valid ID can participate. (Pro tip: they’re really chicken nuggets, but delicious nonetheless!)
Chili’s Grill & Bar – All participating Chili’s restaurants will serve a complimentary dine-in meal to veterans and active-duty military from a special Veterans Day menu. Every item is excellent!
George’s Corner – Free breakfast, lunch or dinner for all Veterans on Nov 11.
Golden Corral – Free dinner served 4 to 9 p.m., and here’s the best part: ID not needed! Just come in and enjoy a hearty meal on the house.
Hot Mamas would like to extend our “family discount” (20%) to any veterans this weekend and next weekend (11-8 through 11-16)
Kabuto – 15% off for anyone with a military ID and their party.
Liberty Cafe – Half off the Front Line Burger – Crafted for those who served.
Olive Garden – Free entrée (plus salad or soup) for veterans and active-duty military with valid Military ID. Choose from a special menu. This is a top pick for many – the spaghetti & meatballs is huge!
Peppers Cantina – All veterans or active duty will eat FREE
Red Lobster – Free Veterans Shrimp & Chips featuring six hand-breaded, butterflied, and lightly fried shrimp served with cocktail sauce, crispy French fries, and coleslaw. Free printed meal vouchers available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Must show valid military ID or proof of service.
Red Robin – Free Red’s Big Tavern Burger (some locations may offer Red’s Tavern Double) plus bottomless side on Veterans Day. Choose from steak fries, broccoli, Yukon chips, or Caesar salad. Dine-in with valid ID.
Straptank Brewery, Stg – We’re honoring all who’ve served with 50% OFF your meal — our way of saying thank you.
Thunderbird, Mt Carmel – Veterans eat free on Nov 11 – bring ID.

Doughnutsville – In honor of Veteran’s Day, we are offering a free classic donut with military ID at both locations.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Free pulled pork classic sandwich. Present valid military ID or proof of service in-store; only valid November 11.
El Pollo Loco – Offering all Veterans a FREE 2pc leg & thigh meal on Tuesday, Nov 11th. We thank you for your service!
Firehouse Subs – Free combo on November 11. Stop by any location to enjoy a medium sub, chips or a cookie, and a drink.
In-N-Out Burger – Veterans and active-duty military receive a complimentary meal of their choice (any burger, fries, and drink) plus a Veterans Day decal. Available all day (opens 10:30 a.m.). Show proof of service. Take-out available!
Little Caesars Pizza – Free lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day. Includes four slices of Detroit-style deep-dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product. Valid proof of service required. (Note: pizza is 90% dough, but it’s free and filling!)
Zaxby’s – Free sandwich to all current and former military members. Valid at participating locations only. Known for hand-breaded chicken sandwiches.
Steakhouses & Upscale Casual
LongHorn Steakhouse – Honoring veterans and active-duty military with 10% off their meal and a free appetizer or dessert on November 10 and 11. Dine-in and call-in orders only.
Outback Steakhouse – Free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola beverage with purchase of an adult entrée. Dine-in or call-in to-go orders both valid. Plus, enjoy a year-round 10% Heroes Discount with appropriate ID.
Texas Roadhouse – Free dine-in or carry-out meal voucher available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get in the drive-through lane, show your ID, and pick up your voucher while in your car. Vouchers are good until May 30, 2026! Dinner choices same as Early-Dine menu. Country Fried Chicken is a crowd favorite.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers – Walk in and pick up a meal card for a free combo meal (burger, fries, and drink) with no purchase needed. Card is valid through December 31, 2025. Those shoestring fries are worth the stop!
Coffee & Sweet Treats for Veterans
Sharetea – November 11th (Veterans Day), Sharetea wants to honor you with a complimentary drink on us.
Starbucks – Veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses receive a free tall hot or iced coffee on November 11 at participating locations.
Einstein Bros. Bagels – With proof of military ID, enjoy a hot or iced coffee of any size with a purchase.
Culver’s – Free 1-scoop sundae when you show your military ID, VA veteran ID, or driver’s license with a veterans designation. Plus, 10% of all sales that day will go to Hero Expeditions, a group that helps veterans. Enjoy a sweet treat and support veterans at the same time!
Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt – Some locations are offering veterans a free scoop of ice cream this Veterans Day. Present military ID to qualify. Check with your local Handel’s for participation.
