Register Here: Leadership, Reconsidered
A short talk for people who say “I’m just helping” – reframing leadership beyond ego, power, or spotlight.
Overview
This 30-minute talk is for people who care deeply about their work, carry responsibility, and influence others but feel uneasy about the word leadership.
If you’ve seen leadership misused, tied to ego or authority, and quietly decided “that’s not for me,” you’re not alone.
In this session, I’ll offer a different way of thinking about leadership, one that feels lighter, more human, and closer to the influence many people are already living out.
BTW – This is a listening experience, not a workshop, with space to reflect rather than participate.
What You’ll Take Away:
- A sense of relief around the word leadership, and permission to relate to it differently
- Clarity about why leadership may not have fit and why that discomfort often speaks to your values, not avoidance of responsibility
- Language for the influence and responsibility you already carry
- A definition of leadership that feels aligned, ethical, and true to how you work
And, if it helps:
A quiet confidence in the way you already show up and permission to lead from there, without becoming someone you’re not.
