Advocacy:
Should a legislative issue arise that has the potential to negatively affect businesses in our community, the Chamber Board of Directors will do extensive research and evaluate the potential impact. Should the Board of Directors determine an official position be taken to on behalf of the business community, an official position will be presented to the applicable legislative body on behalf of our Chamber’s membership. The rationale for this decision must align with the Chamber’s mission and vision and articulate the potential impact the issue could place upon our members.
