Battle of the Badges Chili Cookoff

We invite all of our southern Utah community to come participate in the 4th Annual Battle of the Badges Chili Cook-Off, Saturday, November 8th. Bring your family and friends to Vernon Worthen park for lunch from 11-2pm.

Battle of the Badges is a chili showdown between firefighters, police, EMTs, dispatchers. St. Georger Police Dept will be defending their Judges choice trophy and the Santa Clara/ Ivins Fire Department their Peoples Choice trophy! Last year Dameron Valley won for best booth, can they do it again?

A $10 wristband gets you to taste and judge all the chilis, and enjoy delicious bread from Great Harvest bread, draft root beer from Silver Reef Brewery, and hot cocoa by Homes for Heros.

Come sample the chili, vote for your favorite, and enjoy games, face painting, and music. Every dollar raised supports the Children’s Justice Center as we help kids and teens who are dealing with the trauma of child abuse.
