Looking for a quick morning trail? Just outside of Hurricane, the Three Falls Trail is a perfect spot to explore before the heat of the day sets in. This trail is a great mix of adventure and ease, offering a bit of everything for the curious hiker.
Starting off, you’ll find the trailhead for Goulds Wash, leading you into a scenic desert landscape. There’s a little rock scrambling and one steepish hill to climb up, but nothing too daunting. The trail is otherwise a pleasant walk, winding through rocky terrain and dotted with intriguing little caves just waiting to be explored.
The trail’s highlight is the waterfall at the end. Although, in my experience, the waterfall is often dry, the journey itself is well worth it. The rock formations and the serene atmosphere create a picturesque setting that’s perfect for a peaceful morning hike.
