The Up and Away Hot Air Balloon and Music Festival returns to Staheli Family Farm for an unforgettable weekend of color, music, and community fun on January 16th and 17th! Watch as approximately 30 hot air balloon pilots gather over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend to paint the Southern Utah skies with breathtaking displays.

🎈 Friday, January 16th

Start your morning with the magic of hot air balloons taking flight! The first launch begins at 7am (weather permitting), followed by tethered balloon rides at 8am. Want to experience the thrill yourself? Purchase your tethered ride tickets in advance—no tickets are sold at the farm!

The afternoon brings even more excitement with our unique vendor and craft fair opening at 4pm, featuring local artisans and creators. At 5pm, talented performers take the stage for the Rising Star Talent Competition. As the sun sets at 6:30pm, don’t miss the spectacular Balloon Glow—arrive early to secure parking and grab delicious bites from food trucks!

🎈 Saturday, January 17th

Saturday morning kicks off with another stunning balloon launch at 7am, followed by more tethered rides at 8am. Car enthusiasts will love the Classic Car Show starting at 10am, showcasing beautiful vintage vehicles.

The vendor and craft fair continues from 11am-9pm, giving you plenty of time to browse and shop local. The Rising Star Talent Competition features two performances at 2pm and 5pm. Cap off your weekend with the evening Balloon Glow at 6:30pm—another chance to witness these magnificent balloons illuminated against the twilight sky!

⏰ Important Notes:

All times are approximate, so arrive early to catch every moment of this incredible festival! Morning balloon launches are weather dependent, so Mother Nature will have the final say. Tethered ride tickets must be purchased in advance online—they will not be available for purchase at the farm.
