Our adventure buddies @lahrs.with.latitude are in town, so we decided to kick off the day with an early morning hike through Hellhole Canyon in Ivins, Utah. This trail is perfect for a barefoot hike on the sand with some small rock scrambles. We set out just after sunrise, enjoying the cool shade that blankets most of the canyon at that time of day. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles long and follows the wash, creating an easy-to-follow yet adventurous route.
Despite our best efforts, we somehow ended up off the path, leaving us unsure if we actually made it to Hellhole Canyon. However, the detour led us to a beautiful canyon that was equally stunning. Whether you find Hellhole Canyon or stumble upon another hidden gem like we did, you will enjoy another path along the red rocks in our back yard.
