The GREENSHOW
Immerse yourself in singing, dancing, storytelling, and music while our Greenshow company brings you 30 minutes of free, family-friendly, outdoor entertainment on the green each evening from Monday through Saturday. You may even get a chance to join in the fun yourself! This season, we will present four different versions of The Greenshow: Royals (same nights as Henry VIII), Folk Festival (same nights as The Winter’s Tale), Commedia (same nights as The Taming of the Shrew), and four special performances from the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah on July 8 and 23, August 7 and 29.
Frontier Homestead State Park Museum
Discover the pioneer and early industrial history of Cedar City, Iron County at Frontier Homestead State Park Museum. Visit southwest Utah through an extensive horse-drawn wagon collection, historic buildings, a Native Heritage exhibit, a sawmill, and a replica blast furnace. Cedar City Pioneer Day Celebration
Cedar City Pioneer Day Celebration is held 10:00 am – 3:00 pm in the Cedar City Main Street Park (200 N Main St, Cedar City). Admission is FREE and everyone is invited to come to enjoy activities in the park including Fun Time Inflatables, food vendors, craft vendors, activity booths, and more!
Megaplex Theater's Kids Summer Movie Program
The Megaplex Theater’s Kids Summer Movie Program in Southern Utah is a fantastic way to keep your little ones entertained during the summer break. The Cedar City Aquatic Center, located on the south end of Cedar City, is a fun and family-friendly experience. With many options, patrons can Splash on the playground, swim laps in the lap pool, walk or float in our lazy river, Speed down the water slide, or relax in the hot tub! We even have a weight room with dumbells, a pulley machine, treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and a rower for those who want to get a workout without getting wet!

Cedar City 4th of July Parade
Begin the day at 9:30 am with the Fourth of July Patriotic Parade (300 W Center Street east to Main Street then north to 400 N, Cedar City) followed by activities in the Main Street Park (200 N Main St) 10:30 am – 3:00 pm. The Cedar City Fireworks display will take place after dark (about 10 pm) at the Cedar City airport. All events are FREE and open to the public.
